About Us

Our Story

From Zeerust, With Love

Kabza’s Crafts began with a simple idea: create something meaningful with our own hands, right here at home.

Founded by Kabelo Pelompe, Kabza’s Crafts started small in Zeerust, North West, with our products being shared and sold through WhatsApp. What began as a humble way of connecting with customers quickly became something much bigger: a dream of building a proudly South African brand that celebrates craftsmanship, culture, and community.

For us, taking the step from WhatsApp to launching our own website was more than just creating an online store. It was a statement that a small idea from Zeerust could grow beyond our immediate community and reach people across South Africa and beyond.

Crafted In-House

Every Kabza’s Crafts bag is made in-house, from the hands that shape the leather to the finishing touches that make every piece unique.

We believe there is something special about knowing where your product comes from and knowing the people behind it. Our pieces aren't mass-produced in a distant factory. They are carefully crafted with patience, skill, and pride.

Every mark, stitch, and detail tells part of the story.

Creating Opportunity

Kabza’s Crafts is also about people.

As we grow, we are proud to create opportunities for people from Dinokane Village and the surrounding community, bringing local talent and craftsmanship into our journey.

We believe that building a business should mean building something with your community, not just in it.

Our hope is that Kabza’s Crafts can continue creating skills, income, opportunities, and a sense of possibility for the people around us.

Proudly Black Owned. Proudly South African.

Kabza’s Crafts is a Black-owned, proudly South African business, born from Zeerust and inspired by the people, stories, and craftsmanship that surround us.

We want every piece that leaves our workshop to carry a little bit of where we come from.

From a WhatsApp catalogue in Zeerust to our own online store, this is more than a business journey. It is a reminder that you don't have to start with everything to build something meaningful.

You just have to start.

And this is only the beginning.
